Interesting: Slate Magazine (a well-known observer of the web) proposes a ‘blog review’, called ‘fedup’.
We all know the principle of the press review: a journalist takes a news and look at the way the press covers it. It generally gives the « media pulse » of a subject and also implicitely shows the philosophic color of the magazines and newspapers (well, less and less… in this world where everybody spread the same ideas).
What does Slate? They take the subject of the day: in this case the nomination of Ben Bernanke to take over from Greenspan and make a review on the blogs… (« Fed Up » is the title of that review… Surely coming from the « feeds » distributed by the blogs).
The blogs, this could be you and me. Let’s not be naive: these are surely blogs from thought leaders. But this is a very interesting phenomenom. One could imagine that a basic citizen with well argumented opinion could be part of this review.
